Run Rabbit Run

Do please listen to the song below as you read this post if you can. Somehow it puts it all into a historical context.

So, Cameron is planning to scrap housing benefit for under 25s then?

Gove wants to bring back 'O' Levels and a two tier education system.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Carr is the most evil man on the planet. It's official. Because he AVOIDED TAX!!! Look! Look! Over there! A celebrity!

And we all ooh and ahh at the evil celebrity who did exactly what his "betters" in government did, but with way less ruthless intent. Meanwhile, in Mahiki bar, the real tax avoiders of the next generation chuckle over their champagne cocktails and Aston Martins like flappers at the Ritz dancing through the Blitz.

While the guardianistas and twitterati faint and rage over possibly cutting housing benefit for under 25s after the next election, it is oh so easy to forget that this government actually cut housing benefit for under 35s, now consigned to share a room or live in a studio until most might hope to be parents themselves. Most disabled people are actually trying to find £80, £140 even £280 a month extra to make up the shortfall in their rent already passed into law. £280 a month!!! Say it slowly. Got that laying around have you? Any suggestions at all how someone with profound disabilities might get their hands on that kind of sum?

And Gove levels. Oh please. No-one knew about it, Cameron asked for some spiffing ideas and Gove obliged. The public will absolutely love the idea, because the fact that 80% of students will be thrown once more onto a CSE scrapheap will not catch their eye. Meanwhile, as our schools are quietly sold off to MacDonalds and Murdoch, EMA grants are slashed and youth unemployment is at it's highest since records began, the genius of the Pob-Gove keeps us all just outraged enough over bibles and yachts that we don't notice.

I could go on and on, but this wounded government are in a corner and it makes them dangerous. Expect a steady stream of unbelievable headlines and here's a thought, if they sound unbelievable, they probably are.

We're in a recession. NOW. A deep deep recession almost entirely re-started by THIS GOVERNMENT
Sick and Disabled people are being forced back 40 years by  THIS GOVERNMENT, NOW
Our schools are being sold off NOW to businesses by THIS GOVERNMENT
Our NHS is being privatised NOW by THIS GOVERNMENT

It is THIS GOVERNMENT, NOW who are presiding over rising crime, rising waiting times for medical treatment, fewer police officers, the rationing of justice, record unemployment, the destruction of business confidence, the highest debt since records began, failing to meet their deficit reduction targets, sacking teachers, decimating pensions, utterly failing on immigration and Europe, returning elitism to education, the persecution of sick disabled people, millions more quietly eased into the 40p tax rate..... shall I go on? Did they not give us quite enough to be going on with?

Of course they want to distract us. "Look! over there! a Jubilee-Celebrity-Get-Me-Over-To-Essex!!!!"

"Hey, people! Look, an Olympics-Factor-Bake-Off!!!"

But really, the most sniggerful of all must be "Here's what we'll do after the next election" A reasonable response would simply be "Over my dead body" Campaigners must surely spend every waking moment ensuring that not only do they not get to do anything at all after the next election, but hopefully, that they can never, ever , EVER be elected again.

We can only do that by doing what we do best. Focusing on our own issues, the issues we are experts in. Issues affecting millions of people NOW. Never being distracted by ludicrous soundbites and party-rallying proposals. We can repeat the mistakes of the 80s or we can keep our heads down, keep writing the same stories, exposing the same injustices, reaching out ever further to engage with those who as yet have no idea.

We have to win hearts and minds. We have to show that our version of reality is the accurate one. By doing that, we make the government look ever more desperate, ever more hunted.

They are the rabbit from the song above, and we are hunting them down. All the clever PR and spin in the world should not be able to turn that situation around.

But nobody believes that. Because the government claimed hand on heart that disabled people are exempt.
Is this true? Well partially. Anyone receiving mid-rate care DLA (Disability Living Allowance, NOT incapacity benefit or ESA) is exempt. The government appears to believe that these are the only "real" disabled people.

Of course, this ignores people with severe mobility difficulties, most of whom do not need nor receive "care".
So think about this for just a few moments.
Ever tried finding shared accommodation which is wheelchair accessible?
Would you want to share accommodation with someone with severe mental health issues who has trouble interracting with strangers? No, and they don't want to share with you either. It is harmful to their health.

Only last week I spoke to someone who is going to be evicted from their specially adapted accessible flat due to this policy. They have nowhere to go. Complete and utter ineptness on the part of this government with no understanding of disability.

These are REAL issues affecting REAL people right now, today. We fought them, we warned the government and were ignored. People are paying the price.
We need somehow to keep fighting and hope that things can somehow be reversed and changed.
For many it will already be too late.

    1. I would like to agree with everything you just said.

i think care rate should be a basic given to anyone with
severe mobility difficulties,in my opinion we all need some support even if its just a little at some point.

Those disabled at the high rate do get the car allowance a free car dont forget those ill like myself get middle rate care and no car allowance so are in as much housebound

we need to post accurately at all times which is easier said then done i know a lot of people who claim to be disabled with no visual signs whatsoever who do very well with the car for free and then you find those like myself who cant walk far have to have the care component instead and told dont go out your ill you have a car anyhow so why do you need a new one

What there saying is you have a car so what do wont a new one for. I must say even i get confused. If your disabled i think they just wont you to have a new car so that you have no excuse in enjoying yourselves or going to work at the high rate

For those ill it's stay in doors as your ill why would you wont to go out that wouldn't make sense. The bottom like is thou for those ill it is much harder to wont to fight back and much easier to take the easy route and to give up and die

if the above is not correct or I've not got it right then do please correct me and make it more coherent

Who does best the sick or disabled ?

From my experiences of over 30 years i would say overall those who are disabled visually by far do best for the DWP payments and those who are ill and look ok do far worse and have to continually chase forms year on year with no let up until their death and that wont change

    3. Higher rate mobility is not a free car, it allows you to exchange your allowance for a car on Motability in a lease/rental scheme. If you have mobility problems and feel that you should be receiving some level of mobility award in addition to you care award then you should apply to DWP for a supersession (in which they look again at your DLA award due to a change in circumstances). Whether or not you presently have a car is irrelevant to any point, as HRM is based on being 'virtually unable to walk' or needing assistance from another person with you when you go out, at all times (maybe due to blindness or due to social/mental health issues).
I'm sorry for the slight rant but I feel strongly that people should understand the motability scheme properly and also that they should be able to access the benefits that will enrich their lives, such as higher rate mobility DLA .

    4. Thanks Niahm i meant to have stated that instead of receiving money you could exchange that component for a car

My point was that The DWP are in favour to those who have both a disability and who are ill to give them a care component instead of a mobility award or in my case the low mobility as your not well and have little need for a new car in my case that's true

The DWP very rarely give out both at the high rate for any type of illness as i said above your ill and if your going out and about then your fit for work plus the fact you will also be on incapacity benefit and prior to that was good old invalidity benefit

As for PIP most people will drop down a level which means the car will have to go back and those on middle care will lose there carer's allowance and their care will stop we will just have to wait and see how it turns out

As always sue your doing a grand job in support of others in the most bizarre circumstances i have ever known in the uk for the past 55 years so a very big thank you and hope to meet you one day

i sincerely hope the government recognize this and make you a dame so you can sit in the lords where your talent will be most welcome

  2. Thank you for writing this and not keeping these opinions to yourself :). I have recently woken up to the world so the more of us can share are views maybe we can get together for one and work on solutions :) and also show the cracks that must refuse or unable to see at moment. I started a Jimmy Car Tax Wizardry Supporters group on facebook not much but better than doing nothing I don't agree with him being scapegoat or the fact they are trying to sweep the issue under the carpet. To me it seems a deliberate attempt to starve out the disabled in this country it was the thing that woke me up, its like 1939 in this country. All the best love and light!

You defeat a government by slowly sucking away every scrap of political capital. Thankfully, this lot are doing an awesome job of helping us. In the end they can't announce free tenners for all without utter disdain from the public and hte media.

It can take three terms of horror and destruction or it can take one. I'm gunning for one.

Political capital - sucked away by the media in the end. We keep persuading the media, keep writing the articles, keep responding to the consultations, keep exposing their lies, chipping away day by day, until everyone forgets they ever thought they could trust them at all.

    We DAREN'T take three terms.

  9. I'm hearing from two sources that Atos and the DWP are increasingly trying to block the recording of assessments now. I take this as evidence they're getting scared of being exposed for the criminals they are (Atos and the DWP I mean). The government and its agents are becoming more desperate by the day. Not before time!

My husband samburumike & I are hoping very much to meet you at Karen Sherlock's funeral on Tuesday, so that we can discuss how we can help you and the other Spartaci (clue - mike has degree in Maths & Statistics) in any future work. Mike is disabled - has been for thirteen years - I am bipolar, but not horrendously so.
I wonder - might an approach to Rowan Williams be a positive move? He's berating the Government's abrogation of their responsibilities in his new book, and he might be prepared to stand with the Spartacus group as a public figure - if not a celebrity.

I have been trying to raise awareness of the consequences of this government's policies as much as I can, energy allowing, (CFS brain fog, pain and fatigue don't make it easy to keep up with all the vital battles: DWP, ATOS, Hearing Tribunals, to name but a few current ones...)but 'ordinary' people really are quite oblivious to what is happening and find it difficult to believe I'm not just another nutter! With patience they eventually start doing their own investigation and are horrified at what they learn.
It's not a lot, but if every one of us keeps this going in whatever way we can, then it all adds up.

  18. I completely agree with you Sue, they're constantly trying to distract us with some pathetic new policy, or another attack on 'benefit scroungers' whenever they have seriously damaging cuts or bad publicity to cover up. So sweet of the PM to label anyone under the age of 25 in need of a roof over their heads as 'feckless'. Co-incidence Cameron threw the old news story about losing his child in the pub toilet the day his Chancellor appeared at Leveson? Sell his own babies to lie to the public if he had to...oh wait a minute!?

You're right too, people up to the age of 35, are also in extreme danger of being made homeless. The only house shares I know of would be student accommodation in university cities or towns with large colleges. Even if you're over 35 you will struggle with HB cut. If you're single and there are a lack of one bedroom properties in your area. Very few in my town. Asking a sick or disabled person to up sticks (literally) and move away from their support network, especially when care services are cut into none existence, for the sake of a bedroom? Ideological policies are doubly cruel when they haven't provided the infrastructure to make them work in reality, or destroyed it beforehand I might add.

The public apparently love benefit cuts and do believe that the 'most vulnerable' are protected. I don't quite know how you measure vulnerability, but hey ho. The reality is that they are not, and Cameron will stand up in PMQs and swear on his kids lives till his face turns purple that no one is suffering.

I hope they don't last three terms! One is enough to cause an unprecedented social crisis. Three would look like the aftermath of the apocalypse!

  19. I do think it's worthwhile spending a little time voicing disagreement with new proposals, and reasons for it... Because that's how we stop consensus quietly forming behind the Government's views. Yes, we have to avoid being thrown off our key points, but we also need to clearly and coherently express our disagreement with everything that's objectionable, or it looks like more people agree than really do.

    ReplyDelete
  20. That said, some things deserve to be almost entirely ignored. Like the Jimmy Carr thing.

  26. Really, some of these are opportunities to make cross-cutting points. They bang on about "something for nothing" and "benefit culture" and "entitlement culture" to support their new points, it's another opportunity to attack those arguments themselves, and thus everything that stands on them. Every time we let claims of "benefit culture" go unchallenged, it bolsters that argument wherever it's used.

The trick is to then use it to 'pivot' back to the issues we're more immediately concerned about. Use it to remind people about the crap that's already happening.

  29. Labour started this *takes cover*.

There was a time when I wouldn't have thought it possible that in "civilised" Britain in the 21st century, a vitriolic Nazi style hate campaign by the media in collusion with the government, could be waged against the sick and disabled leading to a rise in hate crimes against them. So whenever the Tories propose a social Darwinist policy, I always believe that it is possible they may implement it. I have learned through bitter experience, that these sick maniacs are capable of anything and that the British public are capable of supporting almost anything, as long as it is packaged and presented right, especially after having seen how easy it was to propagandise the population into believing the "benefit scrounger" rhetoric and supporting the dismantling of "welfare".

The Tories are reducing and eliminating housing benefit for one group at a time and have said that they are planning to equalise social housing rents with private rents. Their housing agenda seems to be the abolition of housing benefit and the complete and utter destruction of social housing, so that they can flog the properties to their friends. If it causes mass homelessness I think for the Tories that would be a "price worth paying".

The Tories have three years left in power and they intend to destroy as much of the welfare state as possible. By the time they are finished their psychopathic rampage, I don't think that there will be much left for Labour to salvage, not that I believe that they have the will to do so anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Everyone affected by the housing benefit cuts already in place should simply refuse to move. The arrears will build up. The court costs of getting an eviction order organising bailiffs etc will be astronomical and multi landlords and especially councils will have to rethink, given the costs of the scale of people affected.

Its just like America and Spain, where people have been evicted by the banks for not being able to keep up on the mortgage. The houses lie empty, not resaleable, while people even with children are thrown onto the streets. Its capitalism gone mad. We are the people and will not be treated like "stock", as Freud calls us,for the greed of the bankers.

    ReplyDelete
  31. How do you think we will hearts and minds when we haven't already? A greater public that is too tired, stressed, unwilling or unable to think for themselves greedily devours anecdotes supplied by big media and coalition/labour myth-makers to feed their prejudices against the underclasses. There were roughly 1.5 million disabled registered in the UK last year. I don't know how many carers and yet Pat's petition has fewer than 40,000 signatories. Face it - most people don't give a f**k about us.

Nice to know that we have already descended into the kind of democracy where people are too scared of what will happen to them if they so much as sign a petition. And that's before the snooping laws come in. We all suspect they do it already. But there is safety in numbers.Already nearly 40,000 so I don't think they'll trawl through that lot.

  32. RIGHT folks i am going to say this ONE MORE TIME...isnt it about bloody time we ALL got together and by all i mean the real vioces of the sick/disabled in this country such as spartici and black triangle etc etc and formed a proper opposition to this shower of elitist shite.
HOW much more media manipulation and sacapegoating of ,not just anyone who happens to have to claim ANY benefit, but also people who THEY see as the undeserving poor will it take before we all unite and act together.
Forget about the charity orgs or the so called experts in any organisation you care to mention if they take the govt subsidy then they really in the end will to some extent, some more than others and the above comments from the Shelter person says it all really, will spout the govt manipulated mantra and so listen not to them but to the real voice and that is from the ones who are affected by this govt.
I said it ages ago that when the tax credit cuts start to affect working people like they have then the voice will grow louder ,as the cuts in HB start to affect not only those out of work but those in work too then the voice grows louder and now as it is being bandied about in the media we are all and i mean ALL milking the tax payer if you dare to even mention ANY benefit or live in a house thay deem to big to expensive or ....WHAT they REALLY mean...above you f..kin station you shitty little peasant...then you will feel the upper class back hand. Those now being affected are starting to slowly realise its not just the sick/disabled on the recieving end here they are too AND the govt know they are feeling it which is why the latest round of the benefit culture something for nothing yada yada yada rants have been put out for the news readers and the rest of the talking heads to spout out to the desrving masses...
WELL how long are we going to take this bloody crap from a govt that is sliding us in to the abyss and its one they dont intend to follow us in to.
Its nazi ideology in any shape or form and i do believe we are being blinded by the light while they form their dictatorship...oh yeah it wont be like the ones we see on that tv but a stealth mode one so we dont notice.
Yeah thatcher was bad (and i will add in blair etct etc here to cos he was in many ways) but his thin lipped lord snotbag is far far worse and IF we dont all unite together now and form our own party or whatever you want to call it then my friends we are standing on the edge of that abyss and that edge is a muddy one and this lots are standing behind us all with a hose pipe and a big stick...ONE more slip and in we go job done.....ONE chance is we all hold hands together and push back FIGHT BACK TOGETHER....dont listen dont act...then dont moan on the way in to that deep dark hole...its a long way down....ONE CHANCE...remember..

  33. just in from David Cameron

    Other ideas raised included:
Reduce the amount of benefit paid to people over time
Expecting people on benefits to be able to read, write and count
Out-of-work benefits linked to wages rather than inflation, if wages are lower
A cap on the amount people can earn and still live in a council house
Reduce the current £20,000 housing benefit limit
Stopping the out of work being better off by having children
Consider paying some benefits "in kind" rather than in cash
Expecting parents on income support to prepare for work while children have free nursery care
Getting the physically able to do full-time community work after a period out of work
Sickness benefit claimants should take steps to improve their health

the last one is a little odd about to improve your health ?

It very difficult to improve your health when your ill and is obvious that David Cameron has never been ill
The body's organs do not function as they should they may be a little out or like myself out by quite a way so that my heart and lungs along with my kidneys and liver are not working as they should leading to extreme tiredness and low blood pressure which creates being sickness and feeling faint

These are the main reasons why people are ill you also have cancers and the effects of these are the same as the above while being treated

You also have other ailments that can be present but those could be classed at disabilities and not illnesses

personally i dont think it right yes if someone is overweight they could lose it but for many people i have known that is just wishful thinking and diets and fitness haven't worked

David Cameron and co need to be very careful as they are just getting to an age in where they could fall ill any day sure they have money to get by on but that will count for nothing at the end of the day and illness strikes

they came into this world with nothing and they will leave it with nothing and that has always been for certain whoever you are

    1. Thanks for the precis fourbanks. I so hope you are doing ok and hanging on in there.

My take on it is this: Cameron has just fired the starting gun for an election.

Not in 2015 but much, much sooner. He knows something we don't - yet. But we do know his Premiership is falling apart. Even his own party and voters can't stand him. The right wing tabloids began turning against him personally, even before the Budget. He has no clue what to do about the economy. But that's not his interest. These are all ideological policies he and the Tories wanted to bring in anyway. The recession just gave them the cover. But these policies are not working in terms of economic recovery, they are making it worse. The US sees it, parts of Europe know it. The banks have just been downgraded.

My guess is the Lib Dems are working behind the scenes to try and distance themselves in the vain hope they can be seen as seperate entities in the next election. The Coalition is starting to fall apart. Interesting though, that the Lib Dems will not support cutting HB to under 25's but they are fine with disabled people being put through a corrupt test, and dying, that Danny Alexander himself condemned just before the election.
The Labour Party has jumped the gun on the Tories by bringing up IMMIGRATION as the big issue, which is what I was expecting next from the CamMoron. So he has fought back with what he knows best. Bashing benefit scroungers. It is perenially popular with the dull-witted and easily led. He has neglected to mention, how many of these under 25's are in work? So they will have to give up their jobs to move back home? That the majority of HB claims generally are from people IN WORK.

It is so interesting that he didn't announce this BEFORE introducing the bedroom tax. So that by the time this can come in, any families with spare rooms will have already had to downsize or be evicted through rent arrears.

The whole thing is a big red herring to detract attention from looking into tax avoidance by Tory donors and MPs after his "Jimmy Carr is immoral" outburst. When in doubt, blame those on benefits. This time, it will backfire. The under 25's have been screwed by tuition fees, pension contributions, house prices and now this. Unlike the disabled they are not mostly confined to their homes.

My worry is that Ed Milliband has taken too long to sort out any coherent policies, counting on having 5 years to think about it. He needs to get his act together fast as I think an election could be on its way within 1 to 2 years, much sooner than he wanted. We have to pray that Milliband and Labour sort themsleves out double quick as another elected term of Tories will devastate us and any moral decency left in this country.

    2. Miliband is an elite - he's never had a real job in his life, he's gained massively via the sale of his father's house, if he's the best labour can get then the end is definitely NIGH!!!!!!!!

    3. Cameron and co can get ill and they wont worry they all have private health care or you can bet you tax payer funded health care and if Warsi can claim 165 quid a night for a place to kip then what do you reckon they can claim for health care....

  34. Thing is would a Labour government be any better? Would it repeal some of this awful legislation? Restore help stripped from the sick and disabled? Bring decency back into public life? The fact that I have to answer "I'm not sure" to all of these questions is very worrying. Labour seem strangely quiet and passionless about the carnage that the Coalition is wreaking. As I say: very worrying.

    1. Labour started the ball rolling. There is no way they would change anything. Not one of them is interested, has the desire for a fight or the wit to know what to do. Labour are just one arm of a triumvate - LibLabCon - different shades of the same entity.

  35. Of course its all ared herring as above anon says to divert attention away from the tax avoidance or STEALING in other words albiet in a ....legal.... way and of course they are bloody thinking oh shit Jimmy Carr has let the cat out the bag (or YET another cat) and its grinning like he is the smug twat.
WELL look i keep saying it and again people ignore it and comment on the torys and then the labour..we will do sweet FA party..well there is enough of us just coming on sues blog to make a difference if we all actually get off the computerymabob and find somewhere to meet and get some real opposition going and find the REAL voice and start shouting instead of chattering...and no i dont include sue and kaliya and a few others in this as they have got out there and done it so why dont we all get together and do the same after all we have nothing to lose cos the bastards are taking it bit by bit thats why they think we are too sacred to SHOUT thier thinking being we will keep silent in the hope it wont be that bad.
Well it is that bad THEY are THAT bad...worse than the bitch in blue ever was or could be.
IT aint the dog in the fight its the fight in the dog and when you are fighting a giant you dont stop when you are tired you stop when the giant is.
I will say it again THIS has ONLY just begun and if you think we are being scapegoated and persecuted now under the banner of the something for nothing scrounging bastards media spewing govt fed propaganda then ddont bloody hold your breath that it wont get worse if these bastards get in again IT WILL and you all know it.
How many times are you going to get punched in the face by these arsecracks before you start hitting back.
YES my words maybe somewhat inflamatory and reactionary but nonetheless they hold true and think on this and i DO include myself here IF we all fought back in the way sue and the others have then the bloody talking heads of the likes of maitliss and co would not talk down and interupt us,the likes of cameron and his sidekick clegg and the one called Millibean would have to bloody listen cos they all would need one thing to get back in and that is our VOTES...millions of votes and if we would but realise votes are currency and thats how we buy what we want.....That abyss wont go away it will always be there we have to keep pushing back together or you know the rest...
Sue and co have done some real hard bloody hard work and dont we all think its time to push back together.... find a place and all it takes in one meeting to start the push annd a push becomes a shove and a real good shove gets you through any door...

    1. hi sarcboy, i am all for doing something. i am in favour of mass emailing for a start. may be on one pacific day, or over two or three days, as many disabled have life challenges, such as dialysis appointments, specialists and are simply to sick and ill for a particular time .so may be an idea to do this over a 5 day period and to get people who would be sympathetic to the course to may be bombard the shadow disable minister ?or a current affairs program? or a news station ?i am just throwing an idea out there. tho i did go with this idea on another site last year and was quickly diverted to a close chat room on the site and subsequently other ideas i had were quickly negatively challenged by the co founders. i was then verbally castigated then my posts were erased . i am sure this was a subversive site. a post went up latter saying that a member will be suspended until further notice as he his now threatening suicide, i was incensed and i had no way of redress. tho may be the idea of mass emailing did not go down to well? just an idea, steve.

  36. yesterday ids ,aka, ideological disability snot and the rest of the dwp were at it again lying and glossing over the disabled truth .weather questions and answers or statements,. the appeals process, reassessing claimants after the appeals court has overturned dodgy decisions by atos, decision makers. only to go through the whole process again, only this time the evidence is that much older and so the process starts again. phoning the unmanned atos phones with off key classical music designed to get you to give up the ghost, as the incessant noise screeches down the line only to receive a pittance that is a right and this right has been endorsed by the court. now let us not forget new labour brought this in and contracted thees french criminals only for the condom party to steal from the most challenged and take it to a whole new level. dick smeg, and danny salamander, the reptile, continue the nodding dog routine for political egomaniacal reasons. then yesterday we had the opposition which i have to say was pathetic. the front bench not getting the facts right and spatterings of half hearted outraged careerists. where was the passion? the pure indignation and disgust that is happening? milliband needs to start sticking up for the disabled, and make clear in parliament, his out right disgust and concern. his family fled the nazi, regime. we are now suffering under them. milliband, knows this. do something? steve.

  37. There are 7 billion people on the planet and dwindling resources at this current rate of consumption. Recoverable oil is essential to running the industrial economy and powering modern technology and that peaked in 2005-2006.

At the current rate of use we would run out of everything in the near future and society would collapse and return to the pre-industrial era. Our technologically advanced industrial society would be over. The global ruling elite are not going to let that happen. They are not going to let all the non-elite untermensch use up all their precious remaining oil and other important resources.

Therefore the ruling elite have decided on a programme of reduction in consumption for the masses and population reduction. They have automated much of production so they don't need so many of us any more, so they want the useless eaters dead and gone.

The ruling elite have no intention of reducing their living standards and level of consumption, so they have decided to eliminate the middle-class in the First world and reduce us all to subsistence level. The middle-class right-wingers who are cheering on the current destruction of the welfare state don't realise that they will soon be joining the poor.

The ruling elite are globalising the Third world, that is the real purpose of austerity: to turn the First world into the Third world. It doesn't matter which party the people elect the politicians don't really control anything, the people who control the markets do: the elite bankers. Through their economic manipulations and control they can bring any government to heel and force them to impose austerity on their people.

In Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union "alcoholism, unemployment, suicide, homelessness, exposure, lack of medications and ordinary sicknesses like bronchitis and pneumonia took their lives. Russia's life expectancy fell dramatically. It's birth rate declined. Public health fell apart. Suicide rates went up. The population shrank. Entire towns became abandoned. In post-collapse Russia there was a slow die-off that occurred outside of the daily headlines that no one seemed to notice. They were ground down slowly by day-to-day reduction in the standard of living, a million little tragedies that, like pixels in an image, looked like nothing until the focus was pulled back".

    http://hipcrime.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/what-if-collapse-happened-and-nobody.html

Suicides in Greece have increased 40%, Greece is the test lab. They intend to roll out Greek austerity throughout the whole First world.

The ruling elite psychopaths are in the process of constructing a technologically advanced global fascist police state which will have super weapons of unprecedented technological sophistication and power in recorded human history.

That’s what I’m doing at the moment with my ESA Appeal and it feels great it’s hard at times but getting the right support for any Appeal is the key.

  42. Facing reality and facts as bad as politicians/bankers and similar are your fellow man is even worse (the term “mob rule” is well founded)
If illness and/or misfortune befalls you at any time in your life around 83% of your fellow peers, friends and relations would steal and con you out of anything of value you may still have then happily assist you into a cattle truck. The other 17% are made up of those who would do nothing and a handful who would try to help usually because they are in the same boat as you. Dog eats dog.

  43. £300 a day as a member of the house of loads obscene. i can not see any tory giving up this money ,as it is part of the psyche of thees blue blooded reptiles, wallowing in greed . i would not expect the left to be taking this money, this should be given back and do as you say and work for the minimum wage, which has now in many cases become the maximum wage of the proletariat. again not a good day for milliban in the house ,and once again when mentioning the underclass in society, a giant gap is missing .no mention of the disabled .you have people waiting with ventilated breath. as for the shadow minister for the disabled ,start doing your job, your silence is deafening. steve.
