Survey on DLA - Papworth Trust

The Papworth Trust are running a survey on DLA - how you feel about the proposals to replace it with Personal Independence Payments, what it would mean to your life if you no longer qualify under the new rules, etc.

If you'd like to help, it's anonymous unless you want to leave details at the end and every view counts!!

I just read this from the IMF. I hate to be depressing…ten more years of hell I don’t think I can make it.
Mr Britton warned that Britain will face a decade of low growth following reckless levels of borrowing in the 10 years before the financial crisis.

He said: ‘Debt is a millstone around the neck of the UK’s recovery. We have run up a colossal debt burden – now it is payback time. Who is the “we”???

  2. That's a terrible comment from the IMF!! It's not even true!! And as you say who's "we"? Did they miss the "International" part of IMF?

  4. Thanks to all of you for taking the survey! I work at Papworth Trust and we've had almost 200 responses since we launched the survey about 20 hours ago. If we can get loads of responses we're much more likely to be listened to by the political decision makers. If you have time, please pass on the link to anyone who you think might be interested.

The results will be posted on www.papworth.org.uk/campaigns at the start of September, and we'll post and tweet about them.

    Thank you, Helen

  6. Done and thanks for conducting this survey. After going through/still going through the ESA reassessment and all the stress that caused I think this is a kick in the ribs while we are already down on the floor.

  8. Done as well. If the government's not going to listen, at least we can have some loud, trusted people demonstrating that they didn't listen.

  9. Also done.

The government needs to realise that it simply isn't acceptable in a so called civilised society to demonise the poor, sick and disabled in the way that it has.
